"Fill Your Cup" at Shiloh this Lenten Season
It is all starts on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd. We hope to see you at Shiloh!
The season of Lent is here and it is a great time to connect to Shiloh! It all starts on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd. Ash Wednesday is a moment for us to reflect on Jesus’ suffering. We partner in his suffering so that we may better understand other's trials and begin to work for justice and reconciliation. Are you feeling broken or stuck? Curious about following Jesus more deeply? This season of Lent, we will dig into what it means to be sustained by drinking from God's "Fountain of Grace". Throughout Scripture, the image of a cup is used to help define different aspects of our relationship with God, taking us from brokenness to overflowing. Your invitation is to come "fill your cup" this Lent. Through worship, small group Bible study, a daily devotional, or giving to our special Mozambique wells offering, may you embrace this season as a time to grow as a follower of Jesus and find grace in new ways, especially as we celebrate at the end of these 40 days at Easter! Remember the other thing: the Mozambique offering/collection is specifically to build wells... making the water/cup/fountain connection. Peace, Pastor Meagan |
Easter Breakfast sponsored by the United Methodists Men's Group is from 8AM-9:30AM Easter Morning. We hope you can join us for a delicious meal before Worship!

"Fill My Cup" Coins for Lent Activity and donation to Mozambique!
Be sure to grab a "Fill My Cup" cup at the beginning of Lent this season. Along with the cup there will be a calendar that lists an item to count in your home each day. Once you count the item, you'll place that number of coins in your cup! Then on Easter bring the cup(s) back with you to church to make a donation to Mozambique.
It's a great way to involve the whole family this Lenten Season! |
Thank you to the United Methodists of Greater New Jersey for the images & resources for our 2023 Lenten Season.
