                     ABOUT SHILOH

Life at Shiloh

Picture

At Shiloh, we are seeking to cultivate a church "home" where you are welcomed in, cared for, raised up and sent out!
Together we follow Jesus when we welcome (invite and include), care (support and serve), grow (learn and teach) and go (love neighbor and world)!

You can see Shiloh Church on the hill every time you zip down Highway T, but visiting a church for the first time can be a little scary. People tend to worry about what to do, what to say, what to wear, and “will they make me stand up and introduce myself?”

You can RELAX! We don’t pressure and judge, we invite and encourage. You will find down-to-earth people at Shiloh, just regular people like you. None of us are perfect. We mess up - sometimes big time - regardless of our best intentions. We don’t know everything, we don’t have all the answers, and we don’t pretend that we do. We call the people at Shiloh ‘our church family’ because we are all in it together.

Our Beliefs

  • There is one, true, holy God who exists eternally in three persons
  • Jesus Christ is divine and the Son of God
  • We believe the Holy Spirit comforts us when we are in need
  • Human beings were created by God in the image of God
  • Salvation is a gift from God to all people
  • The Bible is the primary authority for our faith and life
  • The church is the body of Christ, an extension of Christ's life and ministry in the world today
  • Every person will either exist in union with God through the salvation offered through Jesus Christ (heaven), or exist eternally separated from God by sin (hell).

Our Pastor

Shiloh is blessed to have Pastor Meagan leading the charge in our church. Pastor Meagan joined Shiloh in July 2020. She is a wife to Todd, mother to Kellan, a want-to-be-runner and lover of all things Disney, (be sure to check out her Disney sermon series in the Worship Archive).

She brings innovative and thought-provoking ideas to each of her sermons and tries to challenge the listener to consider their faith in a new way. Pastor Meagan strives to bring the community together by utilizing the God-given talents of each person.  She enjoys a good laugh, a good book and good conversation.

It's her passion to connect and develop others. Some might even say it's her "superpower".  She looks forward to connecting with you! In fact, she would love to buy you a coffee, so drop her an email any time to say hello or if you are looking for what is next for you at Shiloh.
